Canada transformed my view on skiing, cementing it as a core part of my life. To deepen my expertise, I immersed myself in the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) to hone not only my skiing skills but, more importantly, my ability to teach.
Seeking continuous improvement, I ventured to different parts of the world, learning from other ski associations and training in back-to-back winters. In Australia, I worked with Mt. Buller Ski School, where I served as a Training Supervisor and earned my APSI (Australian Professional Snowsports Instructors) Level 4 certification. This experience opened my eyes to diverse teaching philosophies and methods, enriching my approach to instruction.
In Canada, I've completed all levels of the CSIA certification, doing so primarily at Whistler Blackcomb and SilverStar Mountain Resort.
I am now permanently based in Whistler but I work nationwide as a CSIA Level 4 Examiner and as a member of the Technical and Educational Committee (TEC), while also running my own Technical Development Camps to help others achieve their skiing potential.
More recently i have partnered up with a Pinnacles Ski School in Japan to run my training camps during the month of January.
My Story
Skiing has been a lifelong passion that has given me so much,
and my goal is to share that passion with every client I work with. Helping them achieve their skiing or teaching aspirations and guiding them through the challenges they face drives everything I do.
My journey began on dry slopes in the UK, where I trained three to five times a week as a young racer specializing in slalom—an event I still love. After taking a break to pursue my education, I returned to skiing by moving to Canada for a winter season, building on my experience in the French and Swiss Alps.
